New Albany has a high number of successful local restaurants, bars, and shops, and city government is focused on assisting them through this difficult time. Mayor Gahan also visited numerous restaurants, bars, and shops in New Albany over the past few days to offer city support and keep lines of communication open.

Many New Albany restaurants are transitioning to carry out/curbside pickup models, and we encourage you to support local restaurants during this time of need. Please ensure that you call ahead to restaurants to place your order, and then call when you arrive.

The city understands that this pandemic can cause serious financial strain on our local businesses, employees, and families.

If you are a small business owner, you may qualify for current Disaster Recovery Assistance programs. The federal government has allocated $50 billion to the Small Business Administration (SBA) for these Economic Injury Disaster Loans.
